I grew up in Springfield, Oregon and was in a school play in 7th grade. That was it for my theatrical experience. Then life happened. My last job before retiring was as the office manager for Industrial Electric Service Company.

Encore was a real change in my life. For two years I worked as Eliza's production assistant and the troupe's understudy. I ended up on stage more than I had planned on, and loved it more than I ever thought possible. I like showing the kids that you can do things even when you think you can't. I'm amazed at the "ham" in me that has emerged! I have been blessed with one child, and an ever-growing extended family.
