I
had a wonderful childhood, growing up in Idaho on a cattle and wheat
ranch with my younger brother and sister. I enjoyed schoolespecially
the musicthanks to my mother's love of music. I had piano
lessons, played the organ for church and the trumpet in school band,
and sang. I majored in music at the University of Idaho, but left
school to marry and have children. I now have five, plus ten grandchildren!
For
the last 35 years I've lived in Eugene. I worked for a social service
agency until my retirement eight years ago. I really enjoy the freedom
to do things I'm interested in, like Encore. It's exhilarating,
scary and fun! I love the Encore mission of giving to our kids,
so they can benefit from some of our life experiences. |
