Born in North Dakota and raised in California, Sharon has always loved music and dancing. She and her three siblings even had their own family theater and orchestra! She also loves all animals, especially horses, and all sports, particularly running; she recently ran the 100- and 200-meter dash in the National Masters Track Meet.

Sharon graduated from Occidental College with “a B.A., a secondary teaching credential, a husband and a job.” After teaching and raising three daughters, she worked for 22 years in the wine business, doing sales and marketing, which she interpreted as “entertainment and education.”

She discovered Encore at the final public performance of 2002-03, and was an immediate convert!
