Worth has been making music in one way or another for most of his life. In high school he assembled and led a Big Band group that performed at local events; he played the trumpet "with more passion than talent."

Since his retirement he has taken up guitar, and plays with his musical partner, Hanya Etter, in the group "Lovin" Friends." He also makes electric violins!

Worth grew up in southern California, and has lived and worked in many different settings over the years. He has been a vegetarian for 57 years, belongs to the Friends Meeting, and lives "close to nature" on 16 acres in Veneta.
