Encore Takes An Intermission

Encore Theatre has been going from strength to strength for eight years It has grown incredibly and been successful beyond anyone's wildest dreams. It seems to fill a huge need for connection in our society, and many people have been willing to give very generously of their time, energy and money to support it.

For some, including founder and director Eliza Roaring Springs, Encore has been her entire life, and as a result, she is very, very tired. So are songwriter Lydia Lord, Board President Judy Moseley, and others. So, we're taking a break. Call it hibernation if you will, a time to rest, re-evaluate and reconsider Encore's programs, structure and fund-raising strategies.

Encore’s hiatus will begin in September of 2005. During this time there will be no Encore performances or workshops available. Sorry!  The organization will still be alive, just resting, and someone will regularly check email and phone messages. Your input and enthusiasm is always welcome!
